Maximus formula q6600 400x9 vs 450x8?

Is there a problem running 400x9 that so many people run 450x8 with the q6600s?I didnt think higher fsb would give much boost.

As for me, I run a q6600 at 475x8 for 3800Mhz, but on a P5K Deluxe...I have read that the strap change for this board does not happen until a little higher up, and I ran my own tests to be sure. As far as I could tell on my system, I didn't get 'strap penalized' for running the chipset at a higher fsb with a lower multi.

What do I gain? I gain Massive RAM Bandwidth vs running 423x9. I could be wrong about the strap change stuff, but in my testing I was able to replicate the linear performance on CPU and RAM Bandwidth performance. In Sandra, I get about 8513MB/sec. running 475x8.
