Better core cooling?

One of the four cores on my q6600 runs 10C hotter than the others.

If I hold the cpu upside down and heat the ihs with a torch will it reconnect the cores better?

I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and say no. I wouldn't take a torch to any $300 piece of hardware.
