The price difference for the EVGA 680i boards is huge but i wana know if the performance is really worth it. i havent really delved into what the LT signified but id love to become enlightened without doing research. gota love these forums. Thanks for the help!!

I just ordered a Evga 680i LT to play with, the egg had it for 150 with a 30 rebate... I wanted a 680i for SLI but am playing with pelts and didn't want to use a expensive board to learn on...... From what i read it';s Good if you don't get one DOA- lol
and Evga has a great RMA dept :yepp:

Lol and now that im really digging into this EVGA even has an A1 and a T1 revision. the A1 and the T1 seem the same but theres a 50ish dollar price difference. whats the real difference between the 3!!!

I'm pretty sure the A1 was released to fix the bug the T1 had overclocking quads or something else, but i'm pretty sure the A1 was some kind of bug fix of the T1
who knows on the LT......

The T1 and the A1 are exactly the same board. The only difference is that the T1 comes with less accesories, and it doesn't come with a printed manual. So, the T1 is pretty much an OEM board in a Retail package.
But to be honest, I wouldn't get a 680i chipset at this day in age, unless you're getting it at a great discount. It has no Yorkfield support, and my trust for it to support Wolfdale too its full potential is not too high.

yep just save some extra cash mate and opt for the 780i as this release seem to be more bugfree then the 680i... and it clocks way better with quads... go 780i !!
