first i killed my 8rda+ by accident and then i got a weird nf7-s 2.0 thats went back to the shop after a few days (i hope ill never see it again and get a new board ^^)

well with all this board failing i had to go back to my backup rig... a slot1 P3 700E... this board does 133 and the cpu does 133=933mhz too , but i wanna go higher :D i know that my cpu does 140+ fsb but my board doesnt. so i wanna mod the vio of my chipset to get it to 140+...

ive found one chip with 5 legs, it looks like a mosfet, but it seems to ba the voltage control chip. its labeled:

unisem
us1261
cm9915

i asked unisem and theyll mail me the datasheet, can anybody help me from there on as i dont know how to manipulate the chip? all i know is that i need to connect the vsen pin to a vr and then to ground to make the chip think its undervolting my board, upping the voltages, but i dont know what vr to get and what i should set it to.

Get a baseline voltage and resistence reading first...then we can go from there.

Sounds interesting....

how exactly do i do that? do you mean measure the resistance from each of those 5 legs to ground when powered on or off? and how do i measure the voltages? can my multimeter take the current when i measure the voltages or resistances while its powered on?

i nthink it only works with posting linked pics...

thx man! still dont know what to do though... dont understand this at all...

2.5v/1A and 1.5v/6A... thats too little current to power the whole chipset isnt it? maybe this is the wrong chip...
