UT3 performance tips needed please

Just bought this game, I like it and all, but it seems like there is a FPS cap?? Am I right in thinking this? Is there a way to remove it? Im using the PC in my SIG with my X-Fire 3870's, and TBH with ya'll, it plays like crap. What can I do about this? Thanks

If you get the new patch, theres an option to disable the cap.

in
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\Config
OPEN
UTEngine.cfg
change this from TRUE to FALSE - bSmoothFrameRate=FALSE

That .cfg file is your best friend due to the **** UI.

What do you run it at, res / quality / AA/AF wise?
