have a xp2200 A core, and i cant get it higher than 200x 10....... what seems strange about the chip is it crashes at 1,8 vcore, and 1.75, and 1.65, but it seems to love 1.575........ that is below stock, and it is overclocked about 200mhz!... i have pc2700 ram that doesnt mind t0 run in synch with a 200mhz fsb. a ms ik7n2g. antone have any tips or tricks they used to get past what they thought was their cpu's limit!

i know that it is a SH*TTY overclocker, but i would rather try to get good with this before i go to a Barton this winter, so please no tell me that i should just toss it!

any help, or comments are appreciated~!

How are you cooling this processor? It may be crashing at 1.8v if you are not cooling it adequately. You could pin mod the chips to set them to a specific voltage.

I was asking how are you cooling you processor? TO get more power to the chipset you will need to a do the vdd volt mod if your board wont let you raise voltage from the BIOS

I think you've just reached the limit of the chip, the Thoroughbred As never clocked well.
