First off, the room with my PC gets very warm in the summer, 85 farenheit+ sometimes. (As a warning this will be my second build and I have no case modding experience.)

A friend reccomended the Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme, but some reviews said it wasnt that amazing in hot environments. Is this a huge issue, and is there a better option for me?

I was looking at the p182 case, but saw some complaints about a middle divider interfering with installing items, as well as restricting air flow. Is this a huge deal, and is it hard to just remove the blockage? Would I be better off getting a p180b or a Nine Hundred?

If you are curious the rest of the setup:

If hot environments are your problem, why not invest in water cooling? My rig would die in a hot environment, and I have an antec 900. It's a great case (in my opinion) but to keep things tidy you have to install fan filters, and after installing fan filters your airflow is greatly restricted and your case definitely gets a little warmer. A dust-free case interior comes at a price, unless you choose water cooling.

I generally have really bad luck. It seems like tempting ol murphy to put liquid anywhere in my case. Is there not really any good air cooling solution for warm environments?

I think, but can't prove, the Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme would be your best solution. That and a 120mm fan that could do at least 60CFM or higher. That case if fine, just put a fan in all the fan mounts in the case.

After surfing the forum here some, Scythe S-FLEX SFF21F 120mm @ 64 CFM sounds like a quality fan. Is it worth the extra (I assume) noise for the San Ace 1011 @ 102 CFM, or is that overkill considering its cooling just the processor and not a watercooling radiator.

Also for the fan mounts in the rest of the case, what kinda airflow should I be aiming for? 30ish?

As far as the heatsink goes... I can't think of a reason for it to perform any worse in hot environments than any other heatpipe-based cooler. It is true that in more extreme conditions, heatpipes can be actively the worst solution... but I think you have to get really quite high to worry about that.

As far as the fan goes - when you ask if the fan is too extreme, do you know what forums you're asking at :D

From what I've read, the TRUE doesn't scale well with more airflow past a certain plateau. 60~ CFM from the scythe will be more than enough.
