Here's my problem; I can run 8x240 perfectly fine, and I can also run 12x200 stable as h e l l. But can I run 10x240? No, siree, absolutly not, won't even start on me. What I need to know is why this is happening to me (besides my bad luck) and a way of fixing it!

Thanx in advance!

You can run 10 x 2400, you're my hero....

What about 10 x 235?

more mhz means more throughput for the nb, so 240x10 stresses the nb more than 240x5...

i can run 5x220/225 but only 10x215 on my nf7-s 2.0 with 1.7vdd and def cooling

Ok, am tired, been a long day. :D

No, every multipel above 8x won't work, I have to lower the fsb to 222 Mhz. So 11x222 is the best that I managed to work. Another wierd thing is that I could take my 1700+ to 10x233 no problem, but this barton will not do 10x233.

Just a reminder from some of us other NF2 guys...

Many many people have complained about the 10-10.5 multis at high fsb. We arent sure what the hold up is, but when we couple that range of multis and high fsb (215+), then the rig gets the major hiccups.

I would say blow the 3rd L12, but me thinks thats only for the older revision NF2 boards.

Hell try a different BIOS.

Or try the 11 multi to test the 10 and 10.5 multi theory.

Maybe your PSU can't handle it?

I'm afraid my cpu won't handle those speed, it tops out at about 2450 @ 2.0V (real).

Yes, I've been having that thought aswell. One antec TC 550W is on it's way.

My 2500+ is able to handle 2700 MHz primestable, but not in combination with high FSB. 3DMark won't run above 2450 MHz.

you can prime 250mhz higher than you can run 2k1??? what a weird chip

Is that just something with the barton?
