I guys, need a big help here..

Everest, aisuite, probe, and hw monitor have read temperatures in my 2160 of 170ēc, that is impossible. But reading the temperatures of the cores its 21..22, so it´s a bug?

tried coretemp yet? (google wil find it), its a very simple temp monitoring tool thats pretty spot on with the temps it shows.

if that one ends up giving such completly weird temps too go check the bios if theres on option to switch between celsius and fahrenheit.. that might screw temps up too...
if both dont help, well, then your prolly looking at a bug.

or, other possibility.. are you at subzero? because most temp monitoring craps out and shows random values at subzero.

Thank you naokaji!

I tried the coretemp like you said, and it gives mi core temp 20 and the tjunction is 85ēc.

but there´s something that isn´t ok, the freq. of the processor. I have it at 375X8=3.0 and in coretemp is 421.86X8=3.374:shrug:

This is very strange!!!! :(
In everest is everythnig ok.

You need to use core temp 0.95.4, not sure about the frequency issue, you have EIST and C1E disabled?

tjunction should be 100, when it says 85C you have to add 15C to the reading so your at 35C

Coretemp reads your clock speed as FSB * default multiplier, so it will read your clocks wrong unless you use the stock one.

Only when on quad core.

Thank you guys.

I have disabled the C1E, and it seems that is everything ok, by now:p:

But Reading the coretemp, AI suite, Probe, speedfan, Hwmonitor and Everest, there are some things that aren´t right. :shakes:

Sometimes it as given me negative temps:shocked:

I can only joke:rofl:

No the problem isn´t solved:mad:

But i think i found the answer.

The problem is the bios (107), because they report in the new "Finetune CPU temperature detection algorithm"

http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

so i´ll try to change the bios to the new version.

Just a question i should download the version os dos or all os?
