I give up.

I've tried an older Dlink pci wireless card and a brand new Netgear WPN311.

Vista recognizes the Dlink but it refuses to connect to my wireless network, no matter what I do, it just won't connect.

The WPN311, is junk. Installed fine, Vista sees it, however it locks up the computer after a few moments. When it does work, it constantly dis-connects and re-connects to the network, then locks up the computer. After some googling, its a known problem with the card.

So someone please, recommend me a KNOWN PCI Wireless card that works well with Vista.

Right now i'm looking at the Dlink WDA-2320. However, i need some advice. I don't want or need another pci wireless nic that doesn't work in vista.

Nevermind.

I'm going with the D-Link DWL-G550. Aerthos chipset, windows vista certified and not one complaint online.
