Ok, well i have heard that the older 1.0 (10.. whatever its called) bios overclocks better than the new ones. But i want to use the SATA raid with two of my hard drives (using Abit Serillel Adapters) without getting curruption. I have heard that with the newer bios' (14 and above) the SATA curruption is TOTALLY fixed.. is that true? So what should i do if i want to maximum overclock but still use the SATA raid? Shold i just use the newest bios for the Raid's sake and hope for the best with high FSB overclocking.. or is there a way to use the older bios and not get SATA Raid curruption? Let me know.. thanks!

Also, while i am on that topic.. how is the SATA raid on this board with the newer bios'? Is it ROCK stable now? I know most Silicon Image ATA100 PCI raid cards are trash because they often forget your raid array and mess up... with the newer bios's does this Silicon Image SATA raid chip have similar problems, or is it pretty perfect and reliable? Thanks, let me knoWW

Hmm I've just say what I've experienced with this kit.

I have 2xWD Raptors in RAID0 using the SATA Silicon Image on-board controller. I have used BIOS 16 and not BIOS 18.

The raid array is used as the main disc on the machine with windows, applications and some data (I have a third IDE drive for storing an online backup).

Currently running at 200x11 with no problems. I've run 215x11 but not tried anything else atm - the UK is in the grip of a heatwave atm.

I am using the BIOS 18 with two diamondmax plus sata drives running raid0, and have had the fsb as high as 225X12 enhanced without any problems. If there is a problem, it will be with the adapter.
