If you have a normal room fan, find a way to turn it on high and point it at the motherboard. Then, take a few deltas and strap them to any heatsinks.

strap it on tight !! or otherwise stuff will happen :shakes:

proof :

A piece of my last finger on my left hand ( dont know what that's called in english ) is cut off because of a low speed ( 4k rpm ) 120mm delta.

But i still like em and they are great fan's if you dont mind the noise and just need to set a record time with air.

Yeah be extra careful with the high CFM fans. You can easily damage equipment and your own self with them once they start and they need to be held down/clamped since they exert a good strong amount of force when the air pressure begins after rotation.

Whenever I'm back home, I always shop at these places for fans.

Used to have the best deals I know. Purchased 14 delta 4x152/10x220 CFM fans for $40 from the first link in a special deal.

300cfmLOL! 86W, friggin fire.

I know about them before but that power draw is something ridiculous.

To compare, Delta 220 CFM needs ~30W.

How about this fan:

SilenX 120x120x38mm - 18dBA - 90CFM iXtrema Pro Fan with Fluid Dynamic Bearings (IXP-76-18) (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/4274/fan-235/SilenX_120x120x38mm_-_18dBA_-_90CFM_iXtrema_Pro_Fan_with_Fluid_Dynamic_Bearings _IXP-76-18.html)

Dont EVER EVER post SilenX here again!

Just kidding, but in all honesty, SilenX fans are the worst fans on the market, they use terrible bearings, and their 18dba and 90cfm ratings are FLAT OUT lies. Dont buy them, trust me. You can do a quick search in this forum for the word SilenX and see what turns up.

Excesssolutions has some nice prices on Deltas. $4 for a 107CFM WFB1212HE. Going to buy 7 just to make the lame $25 minimum order...

Airflow on the cheap with no consideration for noise?

Can find some deals on Panaflos here and there...as well as Deltas sometimes.

Comair and Mechatronics are also available at a few places and are often cheap and push a lot of air.
