Just My Thoughts
Asus MaximusX38 DDR2 mother board as both PCI-E run at 16x and handles the new 2.0 double bandwidth
Intel CPU with 1333 FSB ( buy the fastest you can afford you won't go wrong)
Some good high speed Ram Pc 9200 or Pc9600 (1150mhz / 1200mhz)
1000 watt power supply and a good case to keep things cool:clap:

lol 1000w is a waste of electricity and totally overkill for anything but a skulltrail or maybe 2 2900xt + OCed QX9850.
PC P&C Silencer 750 is all you need for that setup, your wallet will thank you

Yea its a little overkill but got tired of poppin PSU's hehehe....Its not an electricity killer either it only draws what it needs ..but its there when I need it.:D
Example: 5 hard drives 2DVD writers 2 hd2900xt now 8 case fans and more...hehehe I can make it wine!

with 2 2900XT's of course you can.. and you dont really need pc9200 or 9600, all you need is pc-8000 or pc-8500 for good performance

let me know where this gaming cafe is gonna be. i wanna go there! the specs you guys are throwing around are a lot better than any computer i've ever seen at a LAN center before. you won't need CrossFire, you won't need a big power supply, you on't need DDR2 1066 memory. all of that is overkill for a LAN center. just go with a basic all-AMD build.
i'd say X2 5000+ would be the high end for your CPU's. go with Radeon 3850's unless you're going to have big widescreen monitors (i'm assuming you won't). you could probably even get by with 1GB DDR2 800 memory too. 400-450 Watt power supplies. nothing more is necessary.
if your LAN center is going to be like most LAN's in America, most people will just play WoW anyway. you shouldn't need uber rigs to make the customers happy.

a 3850 will eat those games up on a 19" or smaller monitor. piece of cake.
