You can go ahead and share your joy with us, we won't mind. ;) But you might want to tell us what makes it so sweet.

It's a rev 2?

So I take it from your excitement that it works....
That's always a plus;)

Well, you got a good board. My A7N8X Deluxe rev. 1.04 (A3-revision) can barely push 180Mhz FSB, and that's WITH extra heatsinks, casecooling, HighQ RAM etc.

Yeah... bragging can also be buying advice... so I too reiterate though.... why is it sweet? FSB 255?:slobber:

yes the rev2.0 take 200 FSB easy, but as of now I have crap 2 x 256 PC3200 ram so Im saving up for the kingston hyperX and we'll see if I can raise up the fsb over 200, as of now im running @ 12.5 x 180, im playing on the safe side until I get good ram.

You not going to see if your RAM will go a bit further than 200FSB?

I did take it up to 200 FSB but then after awhile I get the ram fault error which means I have crap ram that cant keep up. So yes I can take it 200 and higher but I really need top quality Kingston HyperX ram modules to keep up decently with the ever changing FSB. Question - On my post screen its says A7N8X2.0 1005 is that the new revision?, just want to make sure. Thnx

Its not bad, unfortunetly I also have crap RAM (KingMAX TinyBGa DDR400) so cannt hit 200FSB stable. I had heard all the kingmax stuff earlier stuff was good the 2700 etc so i got the 3200 and then i turned out to be crap :( was expensive stuff too

I hear ya man, even if my mobo ran more than 200 FSB Ill prolly only run at that speed, but crap ram is always the culprit that holds ya back :(

whats your proc speed?

Memory timings?

Well waiting on pum pfor water but on a generic heatsink highest I can do is 2145MHz @ 195FSB any higher and crashes bloody RAM, timings are really relaxed to get there, cant remember wha tthey are exaclty.

I see, try an SLK-800A. I have the same proc as you and I run it 1.85vcore for stable purposes, I can run it lower but my temps on a SLK-800a w/ a 80mm TT smarfan2 is only 35 degrees on idle. :D

I dont need a SLK800, got a waterblock, just waiting on a pump which I will order once I get back from my holiday in two weeks time.
