View Full Version : Mobo recommendation for WC build. Help Please!
I have been looking and searching all kinds of motherboards but can't seem to settle on one.
I'm looking for either a P965, P35, 650i or 680i Socket 775 board.
Other board recommendations are welcome as well.
The cheaper the better, but I still want quality.
I'll be using an 8600GT (or GTS), and the CPU, GPU and NB will be WC'ed with 3/8" ID tygon tubing.
Please help me choose a good mobo :)
P.s. I'll be getting an E2140 and overclocking it to 2.8-3.0Ghz, so the board will have to be able to overclock at least some ;)

DFI Blood Iron all the way! I have one, and it OC's my E6420 like crazy (3.4GHz) I have a 8600GT also, BTW. :)
I've been watching that one, doing research on it too. It looks like a good board, but I still want to see if theres any other good mobos out there that I'm not aware of... (you know how it is :))
BTW, is your 8600gt the 512mb or 256mb?

256MB. It's a good budget card, but I'm looking at getting an 8800GT for my b-day.

Lol, I'd love to get an 8800gt, but I don't play to many graphic intensive games...
What do you think of the MSI P35 Neo2-FR (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130098)?

Good deal man... post some pics when you get the stuff! So are you going with the MSI?
I think I will. I've been reading about it, and it looks like a good board.
I'm working on posting a worklog, just have to take a couple more pics...
