I am thinking of getting the following parts for my setup, it will be cooling a e6600 and 8800gts, most likely a quad in the near future instead of e6600.

Swiftech MCRES Micro Res
Swiftech MCP655 Vario Pump
Swiftech MCR220 QP Rad
Swiftech MCW60-R GPU block
Swiftech MC8800 SMC cooling Kit

Im not exaclty sure about fitting and tubbing so your help will be great :)

And i am trying to decide which to get, the Swiftech apogee Gtx or the D-Tek fuzion? I was originally going to get the gtx cause it looks great and will fit in with my case very well but i thought i'd get your opinion first.

Also is there any other Aus shops that have good prices? atm im going to get most of this from sidewinder because these parts they are a bit cheaper than petra shop atm.

Thanks in advance

FOr the Apogee, this is good but also try to order the copper top as well. No MIX METAL

Tubing, 3/8" will be balance on size/peformance

the fuzion cpu with nozzles = current best...

go for a 320 rad or 2of em, for some overhead...

the right fans for the job, head over to air cooling section and read up Vapor's round 2 on 120mm fans
but here are the top contenders: san ace 1011, zalman f3, yate SH,SM,SL variants and SFlex-F...

Fitting and tubing: yeah go read up those threads mentioned above.
a few months back, most prefer 7/16 over 1/2 metal barbs as they fit well..
now we see a new trend, pushfit fittings and 3/8 tubing if i am not mistaken..

ok thanks for that, so the 3/8 is the ID if im not mistaking meaning i should buy the 3/8 barbs then get some hose clamps or cable ties? And for the tubing would 3/8 ID and 5/8 OD be good for kink resistance, from what ive read in the tubing thread that is a good size.

I will get the 320 rad for some room to move. and get the fuzion extreme block http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/fuexpecpubl.html with the nozzle kit http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/dtfunoackit.html

Is that about right?

Thanks again

Ya I use Zipties on mine ( 3/8"ID - 5/8"OD ) but hose clamps work great as well.

I've found that 3/8"ID with 5/8"OD is the best ( but this is me ). It don't kink as easy eather.

I personally like 3/8" ID and 1/2" OD tygon tubing, it's served my dad and I well in the past builds.
