I just got my XpertVisoin 8800gt Sonic Non Reference card with 3 phase power and successfully done the Vmod(Connecting a VR to Pin 4 of RT8802A and Ground). But the card shut down if i adjust core voltage to >1.35V:mad: So i did the vdroop mod(Connecting a VR to Pin 15 of RT8802A and Ground), but it didn't help at all, no matter how low i set the VR.
I need some Experts to help me please.

Please tell where do you find this mod? It really works? What kind of resistor i need to use? and which is the 4-th leg of the marked?

I think it's OverCurrentProtection working. To remove OCP you have to isolate IMAX (Pin 17). Unsolder the "000" resistor (it's just a crosspiece, connected to Pin's 16&17) and test.

As I know, there is no noticeable Vdroop with this card.

Hi!

Here you can find some info about the voltmod of the rev02 8800GT cards like Xpertvision, Gainward etc.:http://forums.overclockers.ru/viewtopic.php?p=4617777#4617777
Unfortunetly its a russian topic so we can't understand the posts.
But i did the GPU voltmod on my gainward 8800GT and its working prefectly.
Here is a result made by my modded card: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=4801057
