View Full Version : UT3: OS reinstall registry settings?
There was an aftermarket tool for UT2004 that would allow the registry settings to be restored after an OS re-install, so the game didnt have to be reinstalled- fire in the game path, version and keycode and off ya went.
Is there anything like that yet for UT3?
Cheers!

What do I need to do to get the game running after an OS install? I reinstalled the game earlier to get it working, but it did save my settings, so I know its not far off being all ok....

log in with your game spyid and it will set everything back to the way u had it
:( Before I reinstalled the game, I went to binaries-> UT3 (with the proper logo,) and it gave me an error- It wouldnt start.
Is that the right way to get into the game through a file path?

not really sure what the problem is - what error do you get when you try to play UT3 now?
Maybe everyone else already figured this out, but if a user goes to
binaries-> Windows-> UT3redist, that sorts everything out.
Only have to re-enter the product key after that :)
