Hi,
today me with my collegue Deos tested our new Maximus Extreme with a QX9770 on LN2. We did some 3Dmarks and a SPI, but we have some problems with cold boot on -89°C and (probably) Maximus BIOS. We tested the system max with 1.78V because over there the system don't load Win

The voltages in CPU-Z are real:

ORB: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=4312874

We closed a CPU test on 5.4 GHz (8200 points).

We have to upload a 33K on 3Dmark05, but hte validation of this results have my friend Deos. (We will publish it tomorrow)

And after that a SuperPI 1 M with 0.025V more on CPU:

We will try on a Mars board or similar

Good to see you back again Alex, it have been a long time since i have seen results posted by you and the team.

Looks good that you are started to play with 45nm.

Keep pushing it.

Good result Alex.
If you use Alex Ta KingBlock the cold boot, is no problem for you. The low voltage is the very problem, the MemoryExtreme Team have similar problem with this mainboard.

Did a similar test with qx9770 and maximus formula, but no problems to boot at 1.90v bios set.
Only weird thing was it bootted sometimes at 2 core's instead of 4.

did all cinebench and 3D Mark runs above 5300 mhz, ran s-pi 1m at 5800mhz
coldboot at -95 , coldbug at -132...nice chip but a lot of heat.

Maybe try a formula if you have.
