NA NA NA NA... NA NA NA NA.... hey, hey, hey, goodbye !!! Well, the 9800 volt mod was a full 20 seconds of overclocking excitment, and then...... that wonderful smell of frying pcb's and chips. Don't know what went wrong for sure. All the solder joints looked good and the vr's checked good when I took them back off of my $400 piece if toast. How many trips back to Circuit City until they catch on? This is #2 in 2 months with the same excuse...... "I don't know much about computers , my friend who works on them just said this part was bad"

I will not be stopped! I will fry.. or ahh.. try agian![I]

Heh, at least you have a good chance of exchanging it. :) I fried my 9700p last week, and I'm taking a chance that my RMA works out. I figure the worst that could happen is, they send it back and say, "Sorry Charlie". :p: ;)

LMAO!

I did the same thing with my HyperX 3500. First bought them and they were revision A00..had some problems with it going over 200fsb.

Saw they got some revision A02's in....and boy did the swappin' start taking place.

I bought 2 new revisions..on a tax free holiday no less...then put my old revs in the new boxes and took em back....lol. :hehe:
