Building a rig based on the Asus P5K-E WiFi Ed., just received some of the parts, and have only A-DATA 2x512mb 800 sticks at hand, but will get some OCZ D9 stuff later on and put some more pics. Then, I'll post results.

Would be nice, if somebody would like a specific benchmark, detailed picture of any part of the mobo or anything else, to please post the request.

Did some quick shots:

Great, I'm eager to see more reviews about this board, I'm trying to decide between This P5k-E (almost same as deluxe) and the MSI NEO2-FR (which is in fact, the Platinum edition).

Waiting for your results :)

I love the P5K-E... no quirks whatsoever :)

If im not wrong, that is the 1.01 or 1.02 version...

Also, under the stick saying P5K-E, there is anymore Deluxe writing on the PBC:D

At the eye, i can see the diferences.....

it is rev. 1.01G, not putting the sticker off yet

wanted to post first OC impression, but after flashin from the original 0603 BIOS I cant seem to OC the Q6600 to stable 380+ FSB, and, thanks to Asus, I cant flash an older BIOS version - sux IMO

It had very little Vdroop in the 0603 BIOS - approx. 0,02V , but know, for a reason unknown to me, 1,45V BIOS = 1,34V real - HELL!

On the other hand, it clocks my pair of OCZ SLi 2x1 D9GMH sticks quite well, so far 1050 4-4-4-4-3-30-3-3-3 at 2,2V (didnt measure real Vdimm via DMM sadly) memtest stable and with Transaction booster enabled - whoa, some bandwidth. It might not still be extreme, but people who owned a 975X Infinity board know my feeling after easily achieving such timings and that speed ...

You can downgrade the bios http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?id=20071213160605953&board_id=1&model=P5K-E%2fWiFi-AP&page=1&SLanguage=en-us (http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?id=20071213160605953&board_id=1&model=P5K-E%2fWiFi-AP&page=1&SLanguage=en-us) . Follow these instructions

I just picked up the pk5 deluxe and its been a blast tweaking this board,it just keeps on suprising me.

I guess there the same boards(not 100%)but wanted to chime in with my results.

I basically threw away my striker extreme and got this board.I have it running my go quad with 4 1gb sticks of ram at get this 466 1:1 for 3.7+ ghz on air.I havnt gone over 1.5 volts in bios yet and Im still tweaking this and im just suprissed on how easy this thing clocks. I coulnt get my striker to get over 3ghz and it woulnt boot over 700 on the ram with 4 sticks(I have the ram running 932 5 5 5 15 now ...I know pretty loose but Im just trying to find the fsb wall,Im also on some very cheap 6400 value ram and pretty happy these things are clocking this high.

It kinda stinks that I got rid of the 680i board because it had SLI and I have 2 8800gt's.Has anyone ever hacked the drivers to get sli to work?I have a sli bridge and I might try it later on.
