I touch the NB heatsink on my new Neo2-FR and it hurts my fingers.

Add acouple 120's and you should be alright.

i put a 120 directly on the chipset and now it's fine. too bad watercooling was supposed to make all this quieter... now i have 5 120mm fans and a pump instead of 3 120mm fans and a vga fan...

what kind of voltage are you using? Even at high MCH it dosnt get uncomfortable hot, like nvidia chipset. I would check your heatsink mounting, and apply some decent paste like shin etsu pad's, or some ASC while remounting the whole heatpipe assembly, adding a fan wont hurt either on any chipset.

In my experience, watercooling isnt more quiet at all, its actually just a performace argument > you get to use more volts and keep good temps.

However, in case of VGA watercoling can be about silence too as VGA fans tend to scream.

You always have to keep decent airflow when watercooling, thats just a fact. The flow over the boards compoennts from a large aircooler on the CPU isnt there anymore. But a 92mm 5v fan will usually do the trick when mounted close enough.
