WTF??
there was a siren a moment ago coming from my TTGI power supply. the monitor went into standby mode, and the computer was a bit idle. whole computer just shut off, and siren coming from the power supply. had to unplug the cord from the back, switch to off, wait 10 seconds, and then plug it back in and then i could turn it on.
also, i tweaked my rails a bit:
5.05v
12.71v
3.33v
could the 12v be overvolting for it to cause this?? what can i do to bring my 12v down without bringing my 5v down with the POT?

youch that 12v is high, and are you sure that it was in the PSU? Ive never seen a speaker in my TTGI TT-420SS powersupply

when i flick the power to it, the siren makes a "dying noise"...
and i dont think it's coming from my motherboard...

Change it out and see if it still does it. Do you have a spare?

ok, so i figured it out...
while looking at my computer (while it was on...) i was like hmm, the fan isn't spinning..
tried "kick starting it"... nothing
looked at the connection, just chillen there, not even plugged in... I'm like, damn, i'm retarded!! felt the heatsink...
HOLY SHIESSE!!!! was that thing HOT!!
turned out the motherboard had the emergency shutdown set at 80C!!!!
all good now, good thing i didn't fry my 2.37GHz 2100+!!!

I was lucky here, my psu has a sense line for all 3 rails so I could tweak em all independantly.

LMAO!
I have dont that before with a 2400+...best thing is that after forgetting to replug the fan in because I had just inserted the wire into the socket..good ole wire trick...the thing actually o/c'ed better!!
Talk about a burn-in. The HSink was so hot it blistered my finger tip when I touched it.
