T_M has a 8800gts 512 that does 1080 core! hell mine dosent even come close! bet he'll bust my score in no time!
anyway everything for me was on dice.

haha them big bullies out ta get me!
looks like the 88GTS 512 is the new card to have in 06.. 1150Mhz would be possible with LN2 on T_Ms card...? these in SLI with a York @ 5.8.. = insane..
NightRaven
12-17-2007, 07:22 AM
thats possible :) york at 5.8 tough!
one thing was T_M and myself were using different drivers which may account for his higher clocks yet lower scores. we'll have to try that one out

you also benched the 8800GT. Can you bench which one is the best at overclock settings?

Sry indeed a strange question.
let me rephrase.
What card gives highest score in 3DMARK06 with resolution 1900*1200 and overclocked? (8800GT or 8800GTS)
NightRaven
12-18-2007, 01:41 AM
haha definitely the gts i say but then again its hard to tell since i dont have a monitor to do such high res :D

haha cuz it say X48 sir!
i haven seen a x48 from Asus yet.

Still a strange question, given that the GT is a lower specced card.
@ lobber - probably since we were at a Gigabyte X48 demo ;)

Well might try to bench 1900*1200 with 4AA on, then the GT is on the same level as the GTS.
i haven seen a x48 from Asus yet.
Nice score indeed :)
Go for Intel thread and find my topic about X48 driven .. ANUS

12-18-2007, 07:52 AM
haha okay i will :)
Congratulations NightRaven! Really impressive score and nice pictures!
When will you test QX9650 and 8800GTS on LN2?
Congrats also to T_M --> 1080MHz on dice is nice :)

Congrats also to T_M --> 1080MHz on dice is nice :)
wow thanks SF3D! your doing really well yourself too :)
actually i already tested it on cpu but not graphics. would like to find the best one on dice first then head to ln2 when i get the chance.
the cpu wasnt too good as it coldbugged at around -100 which is alot more work for very little gain from the -68 i was having with dry ice.
but well maybe when i get a retail one will do a run with ln2 and well once everyone starts catching up with me :D which is about soon..
have another 20kg of dice coming today.. so we'll see!
What speed are you running for PCi-E bus?

OMFG! awesome work!
When will you test QX9650 and 8800GTS on LN2?
+1 when? All OC's whate year WR!
This weekend you'll see a new WR with QX9650 and 8800GTS 512Mb both on LN2.
At least thats what im pushing for anyway ;)

its an average one :) i was doing 810 on air stock everything too
STEvil
01-07-2008, 11:48 PM
810's probably only bench stable though ;)
On stock (1.18v idle, up to 1.225v load) I can game for an hour or so at 800/2000/974 then i'll get a crash.

greatttt scores for a single card for sure
is the card flashed to a higher clocks?

Actual shader freq was 2592MHz or 2646MHz?
GPU-Z is useless for clock monitoring as it displays what the setting and not the real frequency. Rivatuner hardware monitoring -tab appears to be the only one that displays the real clock rates.

Very nic escore indeed for a GTS. Your shader clock alone is insane.
