OK I got this new mobo P5E X38 and new GTX, hooked everything up and powered it and there is no video coming out and the GTX's fan is not even turning. I tried hardware reset but still the same thing. I have a 7300LE gpu and it worked right away.
I tried to use the GTX to my old P5B deluxe and yield same result, its a lemon right? time for RMA?
Thanks.

The fan isn't turning?

Have you plugged in all the needed power connectors for the GTX, and have you made sure your power supply can give enough power for the GTX?

the power supply in his sig is more than enough to power a GTX. assuming he plugged both PCI-E power connectors in, it's probably a defective video card or power supply.

this is my 2nd GTX so I know all power connections in it. Even if the PCI-E power connectors arent connected the fan should turn on and will give me video output, right?

I checked the voltages in the PCI-E I got 12 volts across.
