I'd LOVE to own one. I bought an 8800GTX over a year ago the morning they came out. Hopefully Feb or March will bring a new beast.

It's amazing an old card like the 8800gtx (and the Ultra, which is just a small imrpovement) is still pretty much the king. I'm glad I bought mine early this year to replace my 7950gx2. :D

I then sold it right before the 8800gt was announced, so I made most of my money back. :D

Nice Score... Did you use RivaTuner to OC.... Everytime I Jump past 2322 my card starts to show artifacts when testing... I'm starting to think my MB limits my cards performace....

Ya I used rivatuner. At those settings I get no artifacts at all while benching. I must say, watercooling a gpu makes a big difference.

I just installed vista 64 to check it out and was getting around 12-15fps @ 1680x1024, very high, 2x aa with my 8800GTX not overclocked. With it overclocked to sig specs i would've probably got around 20-23 or so but it would've dropped big time in those multi fight scenes.

Crysis ain't playable at these settings at the moment IMO. Not even with SLI.

Under XP, with the same settings except High instead of Very high the game is very playable (i finished it). Lowest i think was like 23 fps. Regular = 30-35.

I used both Crysis options (In Game with r_displayinfo=1) & (Crysis Benchmark GPU)
In-Game Option: With lots of vegetation

When I played the game on Very High I got FPS of 30-38 when exploring the map with minimal action (24-27 w/ allot of action)

When Played on High I got FPS of 45-52 when exploring the maps with minimal action (31-35 w/ allot of action)

Crysis Benchmark Tool: Tour of the Island

Very High was around 28-40

High was around 45-59

I guess it really depends on what you look at... I can get 98 fps if I look at the sky...lol:up:

Overheatings not really an issue with me.... I never get above 52C unless i max out my cpu and my gpu at the same time, and then it only goes up 1-2C.... Maybe I'm doing something wrong....

Is it worth it even pointing out everything that's wrong with that picture?
