I just hooked up my two 8800 GT's today, and I noticed 3DMark 06 didn't give me the score I was expecting, 14k or so.

Then I noticed under the NVIDIA control panel that the program was set to Single GPU?!

I played with the 4 settings:

Single GPU = Same as AF2
Split = Terrible!
AF1 = Half of Single GPU
AF2 = Same as Single GPU

Anyone else run into this?

I thought I saw people getting 19K with 2 8800 GT's...

Hmmm.

thats not right.. have you double checked that everything you need enabled is enabled and everythings connected properly? and are you in vista? and what drivers are you using

I posted in your other thread.

Are you sure SLI is enabled?

#2, run the bench again at 1690 FSB. Tell me the results.

Make sure your not using the iolder drivers.

They totally suck.

Using the new 169.26 Vista 64x Drivers.

I'll try it at 1690 FSB see what that does.

But yeah, everything is connected.

people getting 19k are running quads with overclocked cards at and cpu clock 3.6+

So you think my score is what it should be? I didn't realise you could get an additional 4k from a quad...

Hmmm it may be right on...

If you wish try this with Sli and see what ya get...

Note: Set to (HIGH PERFORMANCE) first then set all other settings clicking APPLY after each setting you change..These settings should work Optimal in 3Dmark06...System in my sig is Single 320 ..12500+ on X2 @3.5ghz ..A Quad like @3.5/3.6ghz would net 2500//3000+ more with the Same Card over my X2.....Those Gt's are really good compared to my old 320. Try settings below..I hope this works...for ya..

The only thing i would change maybe for more FPS would be to turn off multi sampling... as the settings below ,They net me the Highest score on single card for my rig with Air...

Anisotropic Filtering (OFF)

Antialiasing Gamma Correction (OFF)

Antialising Mode (OverRideAnyApplication)

Antialising Setting (2x) this will be default when set to Overide Anyapplication Mode

Antialising transparency (MultiSample)

Conformant Texture Clamp (USE HARDWARE)

Error Reporting (OFF)

Extension Limit (OFF)

Force Mip Maps (OFF)

MULTI display/SLI (Mixed GPU/SLI)

Texture Filtering-Anisotropic sample optimization (ON)

Neg LOD BIAS (Allow)

Texture Filtering (HIGH PERFORMANCE)

Texture Filtering Trilinear Optimization (ON)

Threaded Optimization (ON)

Tripple Buffer (OFF)

Vysnc (OFF)

1st... Every little bit counts ....Double check Drivers and maybe even Defrag before you bench .

2nd ..This is always over looked...Have you checked each card by itself?..Make shure each one benches about the same in the PCI-E 1 slot ,...Ive seen people have one card run substatialy faster than another...This does make a differance....
Even check the temps on each card seperately Idle and LOAD while installed installed in slot 1..

If they look good then Reinstall them into SLI Mode...Use settings above...
Just rember Sli always clocks to the Slowest card ..So if a card runs abnormaly slow both will.

You said your sytem stops responding or some thing like that when gamming or MAYA...Run each card seperate in same programs. See if it does it...

As long as theres no pixeling or wierd sqaures on your screen id say your safe. Maybe could be driver...I always test cards seperate before i do Sli..
