My R9700 NP is currently clocked at 360/290, any higher on the core and artifacts will eventually appear and only get worse. Same on the mem (infineon 3.3:(), any higher and the card goes berserk! Is this a heat problem (core)? or will a vmod help?
I dont have the $$$ for watercooling, etc, but i do have the balls to possibly do a vmod if it helps my OC. Does anyone know of a good site/article on R9700 vmods? Ive come across a few but im looking for something in the area of "Voltmods For Dummies":)
Any input is greatly appreciated, thnx!

"any higher on the core and artifacts will eventually appear and only get worse" this would indicate it could be a heat problem. volt modding the card on stock cooling is not advised. dunno about you, but with stock cooling and voltages my card could get VERY hot.

yeah, i was thinking it was heat related, but i still have some hope for the RAM. Its 3.3ns infineon, so the fastest ive gotten it go is ~300, but ive read posts w/ppl getting up to 330 mhz with a vmem mod and some ram sinks. Anybody had this much success on their ram?

Maybe a Tt crystal orb can help me out with the core a little, anything is better than stock;)
