Hey guys, I just installed my 3870 and booted up but no video:( O.K sat for a while, pondered, and decided to try a VGA cable instead of the DVI. Did that and I got video. Installed the Cat 7.11's for Vista 32bit, and everything went fine. System restarted and I thought id try the dvi cable again, but it didnt work. What is up with this DVI/no video issue? How can I get the VGA cable working? I don't wanna be running VGA
vga's not all that bad....
no idea why that's happening, except perhaps you either have a bad cable or your monitor's dvi input could be dead, I know some monitors' (especially similar to sceptre's 22") dvi ports will die within a few months of use

Id like to add that my monitor is an Acer 22' and the DVI cable its comes with is DVI-D but when I look at the card and the adapter im using on the vga cable, their DVI-I Dual link standard. Would this be causing conflict?
