Your water goes thru not 1, but TWO dual 120mm radiators as well as cpu, NB and GPU blocks! You only have 1 pump! Your flow has got to be less then nothing! Am I wrong in saying you only have 1 pump? Looks that way to me? You need another :banana4: :toast:

Here are some pics of my system. This winter I'll add a 1/3 hp chiller.
It's all installed under my new workbench now and is cooling 6 PC quite nicely. Each radiator serves 2 PCs. The last pic shows temps in/out of one of the radiators to help monitor when the radiators need a good dusting.
Average ondie temps is 40C. I have 3 AMD 64's, 1 AMD XP and 2 P-4's cooled with this setup....all overclocked and running SETI 24/7. Much quieter in here now.

Since then i've moved onto a alcohol chiller and now i'm building a cascade.

Surprisingly, my CPU never goes past 48C and my GPU never goes past 45C anymore. The fan is still only running half speed, and both my CPU and GPU are overclocked. Goes to show, you don't need a perfect loop or large radiator to get satisfactory temperatures. So far my motherboard is limiting my overclock, until I get a new motherboard, i'll stick with this setup.
People say I could be getting ~35C temps w/ better rad etc. but I don't see how that would help me in any way..
edit: sorry, thought u were caLume  .no idea how tihs could hapen  .

I usually have the second rad in the window cause its almost always 30F degrees here in NH,
I usually get around 8C on the processor and 45F on the water temps, when its cold out,
when its warm I get 18C on the processor most of the time

Don't make fun of my bigwater :p
It's simple and nothing compared to these other pictures, but 1. The thought of piecing a set together never occured to me. I heard of dangerden and other companies AFTER I bought this thing. I am a complete NOOB to WC'ing (as if you couldn't tell) so yes, I wish I had bought something else, but nothing I can do about it now...so don't bash me! I do enough of it to myself as it is :brick:

lol Crazy man. Looks kind of cool though the way it's propped up. No doubt much better flow through that thing than if it was bolted straight to the case.
Is that a T-Line you have at the bottom pointing down? Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of a T-line?
DBlue135

The T line is just for emptying the system out. All filling and air bleeding is done through the res up top.

thx, didn't expect this now. tubes are 6*1 mm, to small, but when i bould them, i had a different cpu cooler and it didn't metter  . in the setup are 2 more watercooled wd raptors normaly. the hdd cooler's are from heattrap, quite cheap and that stuff realy make hdd's silent (*because they are so damn heavy*). the other hdd is a normal wd with 80gig, abd doesn't need some special cooling in comparetion to the maxtor above. the tube goes above to the raptors and then to th main raditor: (*the mouse, i know, rocks, it's a razor diamondbackchamleon (http://mitglied.lycos.de/amduser86/maus.jpg)*).

Yay I can finally post a true H20 setup besides my bigwater in here :p
This is what I had a few months ago:
http://www.27thavenue.com/images/systempics/internal.jpg Look at that piece of crap.
This is what I got now (not to mention a 6800GT opposed to a FX 5700 in that pic)

I had the pump running via a test PSU, but not the system and had the paper towel pieces for watching for leaks, it's all running smoothly now though :D

Wow man, I feel sorry for your pump having to deal with all those 90 degree angles....
Usama aka Ferrari Freak
The flow is ok, and the temps too, u not really need the best pump to get good temps, and there are only 3 angels. Anyway i have this eheim since 3 years now, time to time i upgrade my watercooling, next step is an laing dcc and an better external compensating reservoir.

Very nice, neatness is a beautiful thing in todays computers.
Thats the nF4 SLI-DR, right?
Did you need any special mounting hardware for the DD TDX?
Thanks,

Are you talking to me?
My MB is just the Ultra-DR, my wiring is tight there by the CDs and HD but Im not sure I can get it any cleaner. The only mounting for the TDX was a lock nut on the back of the MB, thats it.

Yeah, I was talking to you.
So, did you need to buy anything special to mount it, or did it come with the TDX?
I was complementing your nice wiring job!

Mounted:
https://home.comcast.net/~mikeehrlich/Newwcstuff/dfire2.5p1.jpg
Had it running for a few days (5V) but still annoyed me so - NEXT!!!
Put back teh Old shroud and a Panaflo L (note teh shiny G5 hiding in there :woot: and the modded mcp350 )
https://home.comcast.net/~mikeehrlich/Newwcstuff/rev3.1.jpg
Also note how I opened up the wire pass-through and then used a piece of AL angle to maint structural integrity. THIS ALLOWS ME TO REMOVE THE WHOLE WC SYSTEM AS A UNIT (B4 DRAINING IF NEED BE!!!!)
Got fed up w/ the t-line and bleeding so stuff the mc5000(?) res from swifty in and after epoxying in the barbs all is GOOD
https://home.comcast.net/~mikeehrlich/Newwcstuff/rev3.res.jpg
Some people have been wondering how they would mount some WC in a V1000, so when I was re-arranging the case for my wife (moving drive bays back a bit for less noise) I dummied up my trusty old BIX setup to give an idea :hrhr:
https://home.comcast.net/~mikeehrlich/Newwcstuff/v1000rgh1.jpg
This one is for eva2000 and the others who seem to have mounting issues for their storm blocks, etc (will also work on Big typhoon :D ) Threaded rod screwed into standoff screwed into backplate.

Well... new to this forum... so thought i would dive right in and post my rig.
It's not complete, still needs a little tidying up, but am working on to custom systems right now and just don't have the time... along with another product about to hit the market... it's just a busy time.
Anyways, here it is... specs are in my sig... temps are about 32 idle and after running folding@home and prime95 for 4 days solid, the highest recorded temps were - CPU: 39, GPU: 40, HDD: 36 (highest GPU temp was found by running Doom3D for 8 hours)
The case is just a typical sized mid-tower case (raidmax scorpio 868w), but everything fits in great and the system is almost silent - i have it in the bedroom and at night when everything is off and it's completely quiet, i can even hear the hdd ticking, the system is that quiet - i love it.

1) The fan filter for the bottom 12cm intake fan is on its way; the only reason it is missing is because the original fan was 25mm deep while the replacement Panaflo pushes 38mm.
2) No flashy lights so no night pictures.
3) Currently running Prime95 on both cores at 2.85Ghz on 1.55V; hopefully she will run through the night.

thx, didn't expect this now. tubes are 6*1 mm, to small, but when i bould them, i had a different cpu cooler and it didn't metter  . in the setup are 2 more watercooled wd raptors normaly. the hdd cooler's are from heattrap, quite cheap and that stuff realy make hdd's silent (*because they are so damn heavy*). the other hdd is a normal wd with 80gig, abd doesn't need some special cooling in comparetion to the maxtor above. the tube goes above to the raptors and then to th main raditor: (*the mouse, i know, rocks, it's a razor diamondbackchamleon (http://mitglied.lycos.de/amduser86/maus.jpg)*).
http://www.forumdeluxx.de/gallery/data/500/11807DSC00995.JPG
edit: if you like the stuff, hear are some mora pics. my old cpu (http://mitglied.lycos.de/amduser86/DSC01149.JPG) will come on the 6800gt and this pic (http://mitglied.lycos.de/amduser86/DSC01151.JPG) hear is what happen if you a weak without a proper system.
How powerful is your pump? I've seen one of those radiators (with copper tubes!) for sale and i'm thinking about getting one for me.
Does it kills too much of the flow?!
What temps you get with/without fans blowing on it?! (tell me the room temp. plz)

I accidentally brke off the screw head to one of my Storm's mounting screws, so i devised a new system. So far it works great and is much better for a bare core cuz it forces you to come straight down on it.

Well, here is my rig.
Case is an old Chieftech Dragon Full Tower.
Got the PA120.3 rad at the top with 3 120mm Pabst sucking air out of case through rad.
Then flow to d-tek bay res -> Laing DCC Ultra (using top inlet)->cpu-block (Alphacool Nexxos Xp)->BlackIce Dual Micro (cooled with 2 low noice Pabst 80mm) -> GPU-block (NexXxoS NVXP-3) -> chipset-block (Alphacool NexXxoS NBX-N) -> back to ThermoChill PA120.3, with a temp probe in a t-plug just before rad to measure water temp after the loop is completed...
I really tried to minimize the length of the tubing and at the same time trying to create the best possible flow order....whatta ya think?
I know the cabling at the top of case is a mess, but haven't figured out yet how to make it neater....ideas are welcome ;)

having the Lian-Li case is really nice and I thought pump and res up top would be best for short tubing and easy access...:toast:
I see that I have tubing in block wrong now...thx for pointing that out...I will be fixing that this weekend as well as adding a couple of things:
Tygon 3603 1/2" ID Clear Tubing (TYGON-3603-1/2)
ThermoChill PA120.2 Dual 120mm Radiator for Lower CFM Fans

I realised I never submitted any pics of my pc, only the vga is watercooled, do I still qualify?
Used to have the CPU watercooled, but not anymore. The outside of the case is horrendously boring, so I'll just give an internal shot.

re did my water cooling. the usps box i had previously didn't work out so well. got pretty soggy. changed from clearflex to masterkleer and i am liking masterkleer a whole lot better. tighter turns, thinner, and fits nicely on the barb. I couldn't get the tubing entirely over the Y fitting. Not using a res anymore. Made it a lot easier to set up, i get more room, and its quiet.

you should modd the ddc or get an alphacool top!
Why?

because using a top inlet mod of some sort increases the ddc's performance rather dramatically.

I have made plans of mounting the radiator in the top of the Stacker very soon. Although, I must say, having it hanging on the back like it is now, is very good.
I don't see the point of keeping it in the case when I can have it on the back of it - thus not taking up space that could be used for something else...
-k0nsl
what's the point of having a Stacker if you're going to mount the rad outside?

So here is my first watercooling build. I used a TT Armor case with a Thermochill PA120.2 top mounted with Silverstone 110 CFM fans on a fan speed controller. DD-5 pump, 5 1/4 bay res, Storm G4 rev.2 and DD-8800 completes my loop.

Since my hardware puts out so much heat i decided to watercool the cpu, nb, sb, and both 8800gtx's.. Needed a bigger case so i went with the Mountain Mods U2-UFO case.. Its really an incredible case...
I wanted to go with to completely seperate loops, 1 for cpu, nb, and sb -- and 1 for both 8800gtx's...
I have the Swiftech STORM Extreme Performance Universal Water-block - Rev 2 on the E6600.. Dangerden DD-680i Chipset Block on the northbridge.. Swifty MCW30 chipset block on the southbridge.. 2 x DangerDen DD-8800 GTX waterblocks on the southbridge..
2 x Swiftech MCP655 pumps, one for each seperate loop.. 1 x 120.3 thermochill radiator for the cpu, nb, and sb loop.. 1 x 120.2 thermochill radiator for the 8800gtx's..
A total of 14 120mm fans in all.. I have 120mm fans on both sides of each radiator.. I did this so i could run the fans at very low rpm's-- keeping the water nice and cool and yet very quiet..
With the fans running very low( my pc is now almost completely silent) my temps are very good..
E6600@3600mhz(400x9 -- 1.525vcore) temps are 40C idle and around 45C full load..
8800gtx's idle at 47C and get to 51C at full load..
nb and sb stay around 35C
Im really impressed by the quality of this case, a bit expensive but well worth it IMHO..

This is my first post here so I'd like to show you my original German system. Except the CPU block everything is made in Germany.

This is a Danger Den TDX for S939. It cools very well and looks fantastic :).

All fans are Yate Loon D12SL-12. Very cheap but silent :).
http://arctic.kilu3.de/10.03.07/mips.jpg
Northbridge block made by MIPS-Computer.
http://arctic.kilu3.de/10.03.07/nt_lüfter.jpg
PSU is an Enermax Liberty, but I replaced the standard fan by a Yate Loon ;). Also there are two temperature sensors *g*.
http://arctic.kilu3.de/10.03.07/ram.jpg
The heatspreaders are Revoltec RAM Freezer Platinum. They are useless for better OC, but are very nice =).
http://arctic.kilu3.de/10.03.07/wchk.jpg
GPU block is a Watercool Heatkiller GPU-X 2.5. The installation is horrbile, but it performs great by a low flow resistance. It also cools the MOSFETs.
http://arctic.kilu3.de/10.03.07/wchk2.jpg
----
http://arctic.kilu3.de/11.03.07/außen.jpg
The Case is a Lian Li PC7-SE in black. A nice case but very small for a watercooling system. So I mounted the pump, a Watercool Eheim 1046, and the reservoir on the cases back:

The radiator is external, pics will be shown soon.

Could you tell me what this is, exactly? You can even try explaining it auf Deutsch, weil ich ein bisschen weiss. Looks to me like it is a valve that would allow flow when you apply pressure to both sides. Why you would need it is beyond me, though.

and a suggestion if you ever break down loop and redo things:

Thats a drain and it has a zip tie now.
The other definitely has a worm drive clamp on it.
I didnt take the final pics yet. I havent had time to work on it. I just went though a CPU exchange, and the next time i have free goes to rebuilding another quadcore.
I have 3 now, 1 going to be donated soon to my best friend.
So when i do have the time, and i get the plexiglass up, i'll repost.
As of right now, i dont care how it looks, only how much points it can crunch per day.

I replaced my damn violet-light-producing CCFL by High Quality LED's.
So my non-uv-active components are not spotted with the bright violet note.
It is purer UV:
see a usual LED:
http://www.karat-leuchten.de/pc/LED/ledalt1.JPG
And the higher Quality with a lower nm-value:

Where did you/are you getting the UV LED arrays from? I am looking for some and don't like the UV CFFL's because they put out too much "light" and not enough UV.

DDC upside down = bad ?
Never heard of it, but I hope not. I turned it upside down because it fitted well in my not-so-spacious P180. If I turn it the other way around, I will lose 1 DVD or 1 HD..
The CPU block is a '1ACOOLING-HV2'. I bought it as part of the complete set. It's small, but I guess it is in the lower classes of performance. It is probably going to be replaced by a friends alphacool (nexxxos?) cpu block.

Used a Thermochill 120.3 with ACRyan Grill. Fitted fine and also Yate DS12 fans and a nice GTX block and DDC Ultra Pump. :D

Upgraded my watercooling finally.
D-tek Fuzion
Swiftech MCW 60
Thermochill PA120.3 (6 Yate Loon)
Iwaki MD-20RZG-2
1/2" Tygon R-3603
CPU 1.55v 2970Mhz : 30 Idle 40 Load
CPU 1.4v 2800Mhz : 28 Idle 34 Load
GPU 1.425v 725Mhz : 39 Idle 44 Load
Temps are averages by Coretemp and Rivatuner, in a 20C room.
I must say Im very impressed by the performance, absolutely great stuff. But the Iwaki is pretty loud, and hot. Maybe it's because I'm feeding the beast 110v from the 230v converter instead of it's rated 100v.

Another thing is the ramsinks of the MCW60, theyre just useless. For straters they dont fit beneath the tubing and second they came off just by looking at them (but that I knew), so my mate TRG whipped out the dremel and cut up the stock 1950XTX cooler.

And just a random pic to show that you should always clean your rad, or ban the cat from the computer room.
