:ROTF:
I installed it yesterday on a one-generation old AM2 FX62 system with two 7900 GTX video cards hooked in SLI. Thought I would try to overclock the sucker as much as possible to see how far it'll last in Crysis :p:
So, I clicked on the tab to find the highest core clock.. something like that. Anyway, it took quite some time. I assumed that it'll go up as far as possible and then stop when it fails the overclocking test.
Well, in the interim, I was forced to answer nature's call. It was a long process, after which I decided that it would be best for me to shower.
So, I got out of the shower and changed, and then came back to the computer. The software said that the core was now raised to something ridiculous like 2400 Mhz :D and the silly software was saying that it is passing the overclocking test!.
I freaked out and did a cntrl alt del and force the software to stop. Then I uninstalled the software. Then I decided that I would just reboot.
Wrong. The video clock settings were set :D Now I went through a whole hour getting the system to boot, and then removing everything from the case (now.. imagine what a PITA because everything's water cooled lol).
I found out that the mobo was not allowing the system to boot. I had to remove the cmos battery and wait for a further hour of not trying :D
Eventually, everything booted up just fine and was back to normal haha :p:
