Anyone who can tell me the benefits of a Linux install (Gentoo or Debian) over the new Windows 2003?
If it is faster, I'd might reinstall that Linux :) (and my duallie hasn't arrived yet, so no testing :()

Others might know more, but if I remember correctly the linux client folds a bit slower...

Linux folds a bit slower, due to the less-optimal coding of the f@h client. The advantage is, the O/S is free, NP with licensing if you're running more than a few folders ;)
It behaves the same as under Windows - that is, it stays out of the way when you're doing something on the system. I can't even tell it's there unless I check it out with top or other system utilities...
