Is a nividia 7950 GT 512 ram good still?

Is it still good? Yes, as long as it is working.
Top of the Line? Not even close.
I don't worry about "Top of the Line" anymore. As soon as something is released anymore, it isn't top of the line. There are already prototypes waiting in the wings to be the next release.

it's still a great video card, but it can no longer max the latest games at high resolutions. if you have a big monitor and decide you want to buy Crysis and CoD4, you'll have to live with med/high settings.
