as per thread title, how hackable is a VPN?

Normally a vpn is pretty secure.

Infact even a badly setup vpn requires a very very high level of skill to crack the traffic.

If vpns are cracked it is normally at the end points - either from the concentrator or the client which is normally easier.


However even with a well setup VPN, consider it a good base line for secure remote access, as there is no one cure all for security in any application.
