I was gonna redo my aging heater core and 50z loop with a mcr320 and a DDC with petras top but the pump is OOS. In fact I cant find it anywhere.
Anyone have any info?

that is clearly a 3.1 and isnt useful for much more than a single block loop

Yes, it is clearly a 3.1. All the OP wanted was a DDC, not specifying which DDC. The 3.2 is out of stock.:)

Get the 3.1, mod it to 3.2 :D
Of course you void warranty that way....

Well, many stores (ourselves included) purchase DDC's through Swiftech (because they include extra mounting hardware and their pricing is better than other distributers, like Danger Den).... Swiftech simply doesn't have any more DDC-3.2's. We're just waiting for Swiftech to order more through Laing and send 'em our way.

That works, too...

A DDC 3.1 with Petras top isn't useful for more than a single block loop? According to Martin's flowrate estimator, I can easily get about 1.5gpm with a PA120.3, Fuzion, and 2 MCW60s.
That .2gpm per minute extra for the 3.2 isn't going to make a difference...

That .2 gallon per minute per minute?

I was wondering the same thing.
There looks to be a shortage at the moment of 3.2.
I see that 3.1 isnt that much worse so it is a smart choice, no? (price, 9/18W)
Even in multiblock setups...
Anything I'm missing here?
Can someone link me a 3.1 to 3.2 mod link?
Im curious to see how it's done.

Hmmm.
The shortage makes one wonder if a 3.3 is on the horizon.

that was my initial theory. I dont mind waiting i just dont want to have to rip my new loop apart when they are released

I bought my DDC last year, and it has a red propellar. Is it any differen than a 3.2? I dont remember any of these number deals last year.

I have 2 (DDC 2's) that run strong as well.

What you have is a DDC 2.

Is there some performance to be had in a 3.2?

Actually the 3.2 performs worse.

If I should, I won't have a second thought about clicking the "buy" button for a 3.2 or two.
Actually the 3.2 performs worse.
Only slightly though. It's still a slightly better performer than the D5.
