2x WR with ATi AMD HD 3870 CrossFire

Today afternoon the Serbian Xtreme Team (animaN, BigJoe, CAR, Shiki and Spacemaster) with our guests d0minat0r, Bojsha and Northwood has broke the WR in 3D Mark 05 and 06 in HD 3870 CF class. We used the next setup:
ASUS MAXIMUS EXTREME (sponsored by ASUS)
ATi AMD HD 3870 x2 (sponsored by AMD) @ 823/1260
Cooler Master Real Power PRO 1250W (sponsored by Cooler Master)
Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6850 (sponsored by INTEL) @ 4895.5 MHz (LN2 -125°C)
OCZ Platinum DDR3 1800 (sponsored by EuroLink Belgrade)

Low clock was result of using CF, the second card do not OC able like first ;)
The first card we used for 2006 single WR on air ;) And they go much more...

I agree with Sampsa, when I saw this post I was sure it had results from a real WR, not a 3870 WR.. Maybe Iam stupid..

WR is for me the highest score in the world in that benchmark.. not those card combined with THAT cpu and so on..

Put the cores to 1Ghz and you will get a much better result(but this one is great too)

Srry but not only super rich people or sponsered dudes are the ones that should be able to get a WR :rolleyes:

The guy putted a nice effort in his benching and got a WR in his class we shoudl applaud that instead of whining :)

Why WR can not be in class, tihs is WR 3DM06 in HD 3870 CF class, there are not better result with the newest ATI cards. So mates i know what is the point, this is not global WR, but one more time why WR can bee in class?

Nice score, didn't realize that the Orb was broken up into classes though. With that said, I wouldn't mind the projects being split between sponsered entries and retail entries. Kind of like a major league and minor league affiliation.
