Yeah man it takes a light touch.
You need a funky little tool that you can get from most PC shops. SunBeam makes one. It has two tiny blades or tines that depress the tiny metal lugs on the mtal connector inside the plastic housing.
You push the tool into the pin socket from the front with a tine on the Right and left of the pin. The space is VERY tight and it's not easy to slide the tines betwen the metal and plastic parts. Press into the socket firmly once you have manipulated the tool into postion and gently tug the lead out from the back.'
As all the blacks go to a common and all the other leads are colored if you have another PSU to use as a reference there is no real need to label them if you are doing a sheathing job...
Hope that helps.

I did this recently, and in my experience, it took more than a light touch. I wanted to route the cable through a small hole I made in the motherboard tray. Which required me to temporarily remove the connector.
So what I did was; while firmly pushing the wire into the connector, I shoved the depinning tool into the opposite side as far as it could go. Then I yanked the pin out. Some came out fairly easily, but a majority took a bit of force. But remember to have the depinning tool in the right orientation, or else you may break something pulling it too hard.
