I redid my tubing and added a chipset block and switched the push-in fittings with regular push on+screw thingie for safety. As i am happily finishing up i plug in the pump in an old PSU and hold the water ready to pour into the pump as it fills the system.. However, the pump has other plans.
The pump pumps the water like 10-15 cm into the air (my rad is approx 30-40cm above my pump) and the water falls down and is pumped up again 10-15cm.
The pump is an Asetek 'extreme pump'. Extreme my a**..
Please reccomend me a powerfull pump i can use in future watercooling setups aswell, preferably something with coustom fittings.
Laing DDC series. For them are available tops from Alphacool, Radiical, Petra's Tech shop. The DDC1T pump has a lifting height of 3,7 m and draws 10 W and operates at 12 V.

I recomend the Laing or Danger Den D-5 variable version, or the Laing DDC-3.2 with Petra's modded top. See links below.

DDC-3.2 with top http://www.petrastechshop.com/laddcwpeddto.html
Good luck and welcome to XS, let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the advice and the welcome +)
The D5 pump is identical to the Swiftech MCP655 (re-branded Laing D5) Quoted from petras. I think i will go for this pump as i can order this from a local webshop. (http://www.microplex.no/product.aspx?pid=MCP655&mcat=c267)
I am not sure about what to do with the fittings. Right now my tubing is 10mm outer diameter and 8mm inner diameter. I'm not quite into the measuring method of inches and the x/x" thing.
The D5/MCP655 has a 1/2" bar fitting, how would i be able to attach my tubing to this? A converter of some kind?

The innovatek hpps series pump run off 8x1 fittings and they are quite strong.
Aquacomputer Aquastream XT USB 12V can push water to a height of 4.2m and is only 5W.
You could do something like this to the MCP655 if you want to keep 8x1 http://p7.p.pixnet.net/albums/userpics/7/5/435575/1178610737.jpg

I ordered the pump and the little clear res. There is a local tubing/industrial store a couple of miles from here i can drive to and have my pump recieve the proper fittings.
When i swap out my system next year ill keep the pump/res and go with new block and a way larger tubing setup for better flow/performance.
Hope the pump delivers ;)
