bought one of these for 159.99. it comes with 1/4" tubing and quick connectors which i took off and made the whole system 3/8" tubing. i was getting 55c load and 35c idle temps with the :banana::banana::banana:ty 1/4" tubing and quick connects, removed them and now i'm at 45c load and 25c idle.

cheap water cooling solution with single rad.

OK results but still a bit toasty. With WCG running I load at 46/46 on my cores at 1.6v, 3.6GHz. I orthos small FFT @ 54/54.

All in all, not *too* bad for $159.99 but for around the same price and less effort you could've gotten an H20-220 compact.

i will next week. i bought it local so if it was a POS i could take it back. TT added some crappy stuff with that 1/4" tubing and quick connects but its very nice and clean now. I'm happy with it as a cpu cooler.

Read my sig. ;)

Even though you ditched the 1/4" tubing, your still forcing the coolant through the smallest fittings known to water coolers...G1/8". They add more restriction to the loop than what's really acceptable to almost everyone here. Their pumps have a habit of failing at the wrong time as do their reservoirs (cracking). Some here have even had the CPU block crack on them. Tt has worked very hard to earned their crappy water cooling reputation around here.

i read many reviews about it before i bought it. i've been reading this site for months if not years, but i can't justify spending 250 dollars on a water cooling system just yet :P keeping my cpu at 45c loaded on 1.55v while running almost silent is what i'm looking for. I really was surprised it actually kept it that low. I've been using TEC/Air.

Hows it run? I've been looking at it, for either the Antec Nine Hundred Gaming Case or the Gigabyte 3d Aurora. But finally decided i'll pay that little bit more and get the Gigabyte 3D Mercury with an already built in system and might attach another LCS when i've got a bit more money, lol.

G1/8 doesn't look all that much smaller than G1/4 though (going from a quick eyeballing of a G1/4 and a G1/8 block I have lying around)

The difference is amazing to me, just for the price. I wouldn't recommend it over anything here if you have the $$ for it though.
