Well, i have actually been struggeling for a while breaking the 100K barriere...
Mostly due to figuring out the optimal timings and settings for the various borads i have tested..
Last week i got a Foxconn Mars P35 board, and honestly, i did not expect much.. But boy was i wrong.
this is the single nicest board i have used...ever.
No cold boot on Penryn, all nice bios features, and none of the crap i have seen with other brands. So watch out Asus.. there seems to be a new sheriff in town...
Setup: Foxconn Mars Board
Intel QX9650
XFX 8800Ultra
OCZ Flex 9600 DDR2 modules
The true speed of the processor was 5651MHz, CPU-Z does not seem to work all that great with 0,5x feature in hte Foxconn bios.
