I have a Crosshair Asus 590, and I am in the process of installing the RAID setup, I followed the instruction by going to my bios and enable Raid Config (sata 1 and sata 2 since thats where its connected both 74gb raptor). I have the drivers on my floppy and I am in the process of installing an o.s. (win XP pro), SOOOO, I boot up the computer and it goes to that blue screen, Ask for drivers and Did that floppy thing, and after that, the Xp starts to install (still in the blue screen)
My question is, After that blue screen, computer will reboot itself... if that happens, should i just leave the floppy disc on the floppy reader? should I just leave everything as is and let the computer reboot itself until it goes to windows xp (and start installing / update time)?
and for some reason, if set it to raid array, or enable the Raid.. I dont see the harddrives on the bios, just my Lite on dvd player and the other sata 7200rpm cavalier... is that normal? (thoe I see something when i boot my computer and it states Raid Healthy after POST.
