not bad for a boxed intel cooler i think, solid FSB wall with this chip though, tryed on several boards and won't budge one inch over 425 FSB, will post at 4.05Ghz but won't boot :confused:

Water cooling yields no better results, time to save pennies for an extreme edition methinks, with a genuine unlocked upwards multi :p:

I think you'd better wait for the E8500's or you could get lucky and get another 6850 or even 6750/6600 that could do around 4.2ghz no problems.

had a 6750 and that was worse, was only stable around 3.4Ghz, guess i don't have the best of luck in acquiring good chips lol.

will be making an offer on a decent one in the forums when i get paid though, so hopefully that will do well.
