anyway to reduce the shinney ppl in this game?
it seems irregardless of the lighting conditions (especially at night) all the textures on the characters seems---shinney?

Don't know what a shinney is, sounds like some kind of animal...:D
Anyway if you meant shiny, I know what you mean...and I think it's just part of the game engine.

I see...nice graphics still, I'm sure the textiles don't shine like that unless your Michael Jackson or Liberace:rofl: ...but its not a realistic game anyways...but seems to be a lot of fun otherwise
thank you sir:up:

I've played a lot of games recently, so I might be thinking of the wrong here.. anyway, there's an option in the video settings like "Spectral" (or a similar word :P ) lighting or shading or something.. try turning that off.

perhaps its the result of the development teams listening to REM's Shiny Happy People? or was that the B52's?

jeez people its 'shiny" not shiney nor shinney.
As for a solution try disabling specular highlights / surfaces . maybe even reflections?
