Hi. I just discover a strange performance boost in 3D Mark 2006 and want to share it with you. I have an ATI X800GTO2 256 card with tvout. I connect my graphic card with a normal(not lcd) tv with the supplied s-video to rca converter. From Catalyst Control Center -> Display Manager I drag and drop my Tv as : Clone Main with TV.
That's it! I then have a +500 points in 3D Mark 2006, from 2469 it goes to 2960, same image settings, same clocks. I have a 19'' TFT @ 1280x1024 and the TV @ 1024x768.
Iam using 7.10 catalyst drivers.
Please test it if you can and report back to see if Iam alone, or this happen and in other users.
