hey guys im having trouble deciding on which motherboard to get the DFI UT p35 or the maximus. i was leaning more towards the maximus when i came across this great deal on the dfi at tankguys (http://www.tankguys.com/product_info.php?cPath=191&products_id=1783). has anyone bought from tankguys before? are they reputable?
i have read most of the threads dedicated to these boards too. so should i get the DFI at this great price or get the maximus? thx
U might have a look @ the DFI LP X38 that will be available within few days or is.

I have heard good things about Tankguys. A few buddies bought their ram there and it went well.
As far as X38, the only advantage I see is Crossfire 2x16 PCI-E lane support. Other than that I see no real reason. Perhpas better DDR-3 support, but that I am not sure of. Unless you feel that youwill go with a Crossfire system, I would stick with the P35.
I have the DFI P35-T2R and I love it. Had my Quad pumping along at 475x8 and have great mem performance. Also the stock heatpipe is a great performer, even tho I will be going to WC the NB/SB.
My opinion and I could be wrong :)
unless you are planning on running crossfire, just stick with the DFI

thx for the replies guys. I think ill order the DFI. The color scheme is very appealing to me. i just want a very stable board that can OC my E6600 to 3.6. i will be using my E6600 for awhile until i get either a wolfie or yorkie. The P35 does support the new 45nm cpu's right? I will be using my Ultra for as long as i can. The only way i would go crossfire is if F@H comes out with a new client that supports either crossifre or the new gpu's from ati. I know this is off topic but how come nvidia hasnt gotten into it? Thx again.
