Sapphire HD3870 CF@904MHz Stock + QX9770 water

i try to play HD3870 with QX9770 by i flashed bios mod is i see here (http://www.iax-tech.com/video/3800biosmod/03.htm) and i can OC to 904MHz of core on stock cooler, ambiance around ~ 24 ํC
and cpu can OC to 4500-4620MHz on water but after benched i think performance look like to low i don't know why ? :shrug:

btw. i need post it results for sharing and need to know, how you thought with this results from it ? it ok or really low :( , Thanks to all for your comment :)

some my thought now, i thinking maybe QX9770 it have only high FSB but performance slowly than QX9650 on same cpu frequency
but maybe it will very stupid ideal from me :ROTF: and i'll try again on QX9650 :shakes:

I knew you turned on the air-con. The GPU clock is great, but you may need to find a 'good combination' between GPU & Mem clock for maximize performance. Cat 7.12 would be getting better for the CrossfireX system.

Anyway, how much does it cost for HD 3850 in TH (in Baht) now, I just would like to compare it with the GPB price.

Stock cooler, when at 100% sounds like a helicopter hovering at desk. Did you make sure both cards were OC'd exactly the same? I made that mistake a couple of days ago using ATI Overdrive, an OC run ended up almost the same as stock numbers

i think it sure for both clock on 2 card, i used rivatuner for overclock not used overdrive and try check clock by GPUZ 0.0.9 version it can show real clock

With 7ghz Yorkie maybe ;)
CF and SLI affect only nature points, all other tests in 2001 are pure CPU/ Mem / Chipset power and Optimizations ;)

Zolkorn, download GPU-Z and check you PCI Express speed. I have faced some strange problems with Gigabyte X38T-DQ6 and Radeon HD 3800 graphics cards.. sometimes PCIe bus is running @ x1 or x8.

edit: ah.. now I checked your screenshots.. everything seems to be ok :)

I checked yesterday it around 70-72dBA on 100% fan both card and Ambient noise if shutdown this system are ~43dBA ;)

come to update again with my HD3870, to day i try on same system but update bios from 0403 to 0803 and to day i can't
pushed QX9770 to 4.6GHz because now ambient temperature go up to ~ 30-32 ํC it only can ran max are 4.4GHz :( but results seem better than in first post :D
