I always hated this stupid app that i don't use starting up all the time and sitting in my taskbar when I didn't want it to.
Well, I'm sure most of you know this already, but I just found the easiest way to uninstall this crap.
Open up a run dialog and run
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\inf\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove
boom, no more messenger!
