In Vista i get 18200 MAX LOL

I just ran another time with cpu @ 3.9 score is now 19522 getting closer to that 20k

if the "dx10"(i say that in quotes because it isnt fully dx10) card cant perform in vista it ain't worth much, (and its not vista, its those :banana::banana::banana::banana: nvidia drivers)

seems cpu is at its limit no matter how hard i try i cant bench above 3.9 is putting in 1.65vcore in the bios safe my board has a big vdroop

I wouldnt call it safe, if youre on air cooling, try to keep the real vcore under 1.5v.

1. Ok while I agree with you im not on air my cpu is on water the cards are on air.
2. The temps are fine so why does vcore matter?
3. I gave up 19522 is where i can seem to get no higher no matter what i try i dont even care my ultra still performs better!

Why would anyone bench for the purpose of BENCHING under Vista? This guy isn't trying to show the DX10 prowess of SLI 8800GTs, otherwise he'd be running a Crysis timedemo or similar under Vista. :rolleyes:

Benching under XP still yields significantly higher scores, with the exception of a couple benchmarks which are out of the scope of graphics benching, anyway.

And so far, I haven't seen any 3DMark world records from Vista. :down:

I think you have enough CPU sped to get there...I would look at tweeking your memory, OS, and video card drivers,clock speeds.

Take a peek at some of the simple tweeks they use for getting max framerates in a game, and grab a program called MemSet to help with your memory timings.

There are also links in that guide to other guides that can help you tweek the rest of your system.

You can also increase your PCIE frequency using N-Tune or the Bios for a small little boost, most can run at 110MHZ or so (100 is stock)

Also try and kill some of the background programs you don't need running, especially antivirus. CTRL ALT Delete is one way (Brings up the Task Manger) or you can shut them down permanently by going Start/Run and type MSCONFIG, (Just don't forget to reenable them later when you go surfing) and kill any programs that start automatically...and you can also disable the sound here and in the Bios..that helps a bit too.

A good disk clean up and defrag won't hurt ya either...make sure you have the latest Futermark approved drivers too!
