Just like the title says. I have a 640MB GTS with stock volts with 700 core,2200 memory and 1836 shader clocks and I run it on a 1680x1050 monitor. I'm just unsure if a GT would perform any better considering my current clocks and my resolution. I'm also thinking I should just get an evga 8800gt so I can trade up to a G92 8800GTS. If I just wait for the G92 8800GTS them I'm sure the selling price will go down for a g80 GTS and then I might not be able to afford it.

Sell it to a nOOb for exactly what it will cost to buy the GT and never look back..

Yup, or wait for the G92 version of the GTS that is suppose to be available 3 Dec.

I heard they pushed back the date for the G92 GTS to Dec 11, and thats what I was thinking about getting.

First I heard about the 11th. You mind sharing where you found that?

Yea, I'm just gonna keep it until I get more info on the G92 GTS. The only thing that would worry me is if the used 256 bit 512MB that might affect me since I play at a somewhat high res and like playing games with AA/AF. My fps might suffer because of lower memory bandwidth.

Sell your GTS to someone who doesn't know what their buying so you can get back about %80 of what you originally paid for it and buy a G92 GTS.

I'm in the same position currently. I'm just going to wait for the GeForce 9XXX series though.

I mean, sure, the GT and supposedly this new G92 GTS will be faster than a current GTS... But it just doesn't seem worth the money/hassle of selling the card and waiting on the new one.

Perhaps I'm just a little bit overly patient, but I just figure I can deal with not running every single game maxed right now, as long as when the 9 series comes out I can do it :)
