under LN2. DFI=1.92v 5.74G 1m, 8.063sec
Asus=1.85v 5.69G 1m, 7.969sec (Blitz Extreme Moded)
DFI wins the clk but lose the performance.

i'm pretty excited after this 2days benching.
hope DFI can get more source and support from Intel,
so we can have more competetors on the Mobo market
and will push Asus/Gigabyte to do more better job :D

very complete comparison victor, specially at thoe frecuencies.
Bad DFI clocking on RAM is too low compared to ASUS.

Which do you see the best? ASUS Blitz Fórmula? or ASUS Máximus Fórmula?
Greetings bro.

You should really try 10/05/07 BIOS for DFI LP P35, 11/07/07 performance just blows :( .

actually, there's no PERFECT mobo now on the market :(

BF=p35+ddr2+cf, but need hardcore volt mod (inductor+cap)
BE=p35+ddr3+cf, performance a bit worse than x38+ddr3, and need mod as BF
MF=x38+ddr2+cf, quadcore fsb is too bad, performance < ddr3
ME=x38+ddr3, only 2slot spacing for CF, that's too narrow.

DFI p35 = ddr2, 16x+4x, need raiser to support 16x+16x cf, but will lose 4% performance.

gigabyte x38 dq6 = daily using mobo but not for xtreme overclking

foxcon mars = need good bios tuning

WOW that is nice ram.

Aww nuts, I realised that's what I've been using. What are the differences, specifically?

Nice ram what volt needed for the 714Mhz 5-5-4-9 :slobber:

Yeah, those ram speeds are impressive.

10/05/07 bios seems do not support qx9650.

ram=Geil 1066 CL4 1G*2 black dragon
can do 2.72v 1333 5449 1m
2.66v 1300 5449 3D05/06
2.72v 1485 5549 cpuz valid.

I'm pretty sure 10/05/07 supports 45nm cpus, at least that's what changelog says. http://www.lejabeach.com/DFI/P35-T2R/ Did you try it?

but look at what internal MCH latency asus sets to be able to do that clock and apply the same to the DFI , I bet the DFI's max memory clock comes very close. At that speed the ONLY way to get the MCH to run with P35 is to loosen every timing I bet

lol, even if i set all the losen timings in bios, still cant make it :(

He's not referring to memory timings, but rather the internal latencies of the memory controller.

Also, you're comparing X38 to P35...everyone knows X38 clocks memory slightly better than P35 in general anyway, so DFI is already at a disadvantage.

i know that, but how can end-user change mch timing table ?
btw, x38 clks better but performance a bit worse

i don't see how that's possible

maybe you haven't had a stable system or something

@.@ x38+ddr2 slower than p35+ddr2, that's true man.
been tested and confirmed by many experts :D

he the thing is though
X38 will clock RAM higher and tighter than P35 and even if you did see slower performance it would still make no sense if you could max out RAM more and tighten in somewhat

are you talking about 3D or Pi here
